Board of Directors

Community AIDS Network has a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board acts as a resource to the organization by developing and reviewing policies, developing the vision and mission, fundraising, and supervising the CEO and the plan to achieve the mission. Our Board of Directors includes the following individuals:

Eric Snider – Chairman

Eric Snider, Hancock Bank S.V.P., is a native of North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received an MBA from Elon University. Eric also completed the Wake Forest University School of Banking. Eric specializes in providing capital and other banking services to mid-size and large businesses. Bob Trisolini – Vice Chairman

Vice-Chairman, Bob Trisolini, resides on Longboat Key and has worked with CAN for the past 16 years. He was the founder and CEO of The West Bank Creative, a Business Theater Agency in the NYC area, with his husband Bob Nosal. Bob has had the privilege of working with Sammy Davis Jr., Howie Mandell, Rita Rudner, David Brenner, Beth Fowler, and the cast of many Broadway shows, while directing and producing corporate events. Elliott Mitchell – Treasurer

Elliott Mitchell is a Real Estate Developer of commercial and multi-family housing in Florida. He has a BA degree from the University of Alabama in Finance and Accounting and has served in several executive financial positions. Robert D. Nosal – Secretary

Bob Nosal of Longboat Key is thrilled to be on the board for CAN. He has been involved with their fundraising campaigns especially CANDance for the past fourteen years. He has worked on numerous shows over the years with his husband Bob Trisolini. Their work consisted of creating The West Bank Creative, a Business Theater Agency in the NYC area. Rev. Demetrius Jifunza

Reverend Demetrius Jifunza serves as N.A.A.C.P. Vice President of the Sarasota branch, and Sr. Pastor at Mt. Olive CME Church in Arcadia, FL. As a member of Sarasota United for Responsibility and Equity (S.U.R.E.), Rev. Jifunza works with community leaders and public officials to correct inequities in the Sarasota community that affect the poor, under-served and disadvantaged. Nati Shabat

Nati Shabat is a native of Israel, the 10th of 11 children. After serving in the IDF, he came to the United States. The contrast of the freedom in this country compared to his orthodox upbringing made quite an impact on Nati. Richard E. Carlisle – Chief Executive Officer

A devoted friend of CAN’s, Richard E. Carlisle became its third President and CEO in April, 2015. Born in Columbus, Georgia and a graduate of Auburn University, Rick came to Sarasota 35 years ago. Meadow Walker
